A top U.S. Justice Department official says the department is investigating whether Columbia University concealed “illegal aliens” on its campus.

An activist who led pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia University will remain detained in Louisiana following a brief Wednesday court hearing.

The female student said she even dropped a class they took together last fall at the School of International and Public Affairs because he made her feel so “uncomfortable.”
