HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Hartford police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting. They say the shooting occurred at around 7:50 p.m. in the area of 20 Bedford Street. When officers arrived, they found evidence of gunfire and found a victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound on Pershing Street.

Hartford police said officers are investigating a shooting in the area of Broad and Russ streets that left a person injured on Saturday evening.

A man who was shot on New Year’s Eve went to Connecticut Children’s, a pediatric medical center in Hartford, to seek treatment and that led to a break lockdown of the emergency department. Police said officers responded to the children’s hospital just before 7:30 p.

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - Police in Hartford are investigating two separate shootings and a homicide Saturday evening. Hartford police say the first homicide of the new year happened at the Travel Inn Motel on Weston Street. Late Saturday morning they found 79-year-old Vincent Hokim dead.
