One of the most legendary baseball tournaments is set to come to an end on Friday night as Mexico’s Charros de Jalisco takes on Leones del Escogido from the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean World Series Final.

As MLB spring training looms, the 67th edition of the Caribbean Series will take baseball by storm, with play beginning on Friday, Jan. 31. The Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela - the four members of the Caribbean Professional Baseball Confederation - will each send the winner of their respective winter leagues to compete in the Caribbean Series 2025.

Puerto Rico has always brought strong teams into the Caribbean World Series, though they have not won a championship since Criollos de Caguas won back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018. Indios was one of three teams that finished with a 2-2 record in the opening round, though they lost to Mexico like everyone else did.

México will face Japan in this Caribbean Series baseball action on Monday, February 3rd, at Estadio Nido de las Águilas in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. WA

The Puerto Rico team didn't make it to the All-Star Team, but they did snag the third-place title, restoring their pride before leaving the Caribbean Series Mexicali 2025. After a rocky start, the Puerto Ricans managed to finish on a high note.

The Charros de Jalisco arrive undefeated to the 2025 Caribbean Series semifinals and will face the Indios de Mayagüez of Puerto Rico at Nido de las Águilas Stadium in Baja California.
