LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Grammy-nominated band My Morning Jacket will go back to its roots this spring. The band is returning home to Louisville for a series of hometown concerts as part of a larger tour for their new album 'is,' which will be released March 21. The shows will be held at the Louisville Palace Theatre on April 25, 26 and 27.

Jacket has released its 10th album and first full-length collection in three years. The band will play three Louisville shows in April.

The Louisville natives announced a new tour and album on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC. "Scientists create the world’s first living robot, opening new doors in biotechnology. ColdFusion offers captivating, well-researched videos that delve into technology, innovation, history, and the stories shaping our future, presented with a cinematic touch."

The tour starts April 1 in Chattanooga and then April 25-27, they'll play three nights in a row in Louisville. The last time the band played at home was last year at Bourbon and Beyond. This time, they'll be at the Louisville Palace with a different local opening act each night: Lacey Guthrie, Future Killers and the Jesse Lees.
