John Tonje elevated his game play to another level this past season as a transfer success story for the Wisconsin men's basketball program.

The NBA announced a 75-man list of players selected for this year's draft combine on Friday, and two of Auburn basketball's best were invited.

Auburn basketball’s Johni Broome and Tahaad Pettiford were invited to the NBA Draft Combine, the league announced Friday afternoon. The combine is set to take place from May 11-18 at Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis in Chicago, Illinois.

Gregg Popovich, the three-time coach of the year, leaves an indelible mark on basketball that extends throughout the NBA and beyond.

The Hall of Fame coach, who led San Antonio to five NBA championships, will transition to a role as the team’s president of basketball operations. The 76-year-old suffered a mild stroke in November.
