Nick Saban is giving Oklahoma a few early reminders before they take on Tennessee, whom Saban coached against multiple times in recent years.

“The only place you play in the SEC that’s not hard to play is Vanderbilt,” Saban said. “At Vanderbilt, you have more fans there than they have. And that’s no disrespect to them, it’s just the truth. When we played in Nashville, we had more fans, Alabama fans, than they had Vanderbilt fans.”

Saban never lost to Vanderbilt while at Alabama. He went 4-0 against the Commodores, with his last win against them in 2022 being 55-3.

The SEC is one of the nation’s most alluring conferences, and has been for quite some time. It’s supposed to bring an electrifying atmosphere to each stadium that heavily impacts the opposing team. That said,
