It’s coming a little later than we initially thought, but The Pokémon Company (TCPi) has finally announced when Pokémon TCG Pocket’s long-awaited trading functionality is rolling out. Today, TCPi revealed that,

Late last year, The Pokémon Company announced it would finally be adding an anticipated feature to the mobile app Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket in January 2025.

Pokemon TCG Pocket players are concerned about the new trading feature details, and the development team has issued its reply.

Regarding the cards that can be modified, it is confirmed for the moment that all basic cards will be available for modification, i.e. between levels 1 and 4 diamonds. This includes the original Ex cards. Among the “rarer” cards, only level 1 Star cards, i.e. the most basic cards of the rank, can be exchanged.
