The Lincoln Police Department is investigating a recent spike in internet scams involving Facebook Marketplace.

Aaron Hamer, 38, was charged with one count of felony terroristic threats and his bond was set at 10% of $35,000.

The fraud was discovered when the stock market dropped, and the brothers tried withdrawing money from the fake accounts.
