Bowie Jiu-Jitsu Academy, located in Bowie Maryland, is a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Certified Training Center of Gracie University in Torrace, CA. We train our students using practical self-defense techniques the Gracie Way which focuses on efficiency and alavanca (Portuguese for "leverage").

Gracie Combatives® is our beginner program for adults. In this program, you will learn the 36 core techniques of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu (also known as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or BJJ) in a fun, safe, and cooperative environment.
